On a bright and sunny morning, the 8th of March , 2018 around 150+ participants flocked to the Sanat Roy Chowdhury Primary Institution for a camp organized by Vitamine with the assistance of Healthcare Diagnostics where the blood group estimation of 100 children of 6-10 years and general health screening with nutritional awareness was successfully conducted. The response of the people was overwhelming and the camp was held till 2 pm in the afternoon with little time to spare for Dr. Suchetan Bhattacharya, Dr. Aqueel Ahmad, Mr. Sujoy Das and Mrs. Anjali Roy Bose among others present in the organizing committee that day. The Doctors went back home tired but had a lot to say about the program they had been engaged in throughout the day.
In the words of Dr. Suchetan Bhattacharyya, “It was very nicely organized, and a special thanks to Subhasish and Mr. Seth of Healthcare Diagnostics for their active participation in this kind of health program and blood grouping of school children.”Subhasish from Healthcare Diagnostics was attending and conducting this shared his views with our correspondents and went on to say, “We are feeling very good to be a part of this program. It was a new kind of involvement for us as well. We would like to be involved in more such programs.” The happiness was also truly evident fromMrs. Ranu Maity’s comments who attended the camp with her two year old child, “It gives me a real satisfaction to see a team of doctors is conducting the blood group check-up program. I was very sceptical about such blood taking things, but now seeing the entire arrangement, I am happy to know my child’s blood group. (translated)”she saidwith a heart-warming smile on her face.
