Within the premises of Jana Kalyan Sikkha Mandir located at Dhapa near Science City, the campus went abuzz with the presence of Vitamine , the school authorities and about 200 participants from different classes who participated in a nutritional awareness and awareness on hygiene campaign where health drinks were also distributed. On the 26th of March 2018 between 1 and 3 pm with the presence of Dr. Aqueel Ahmad, Dr. Suchetan Bhattacharyya, and Mr. Sujoy Das, Mrs. Anjali Roy Bose, Md. Rafique among others, this campaign was a huge success.
The zeal of the doctors, teachers and students all contributed to the ever triumphant spreading awareness of good health. In the words of Dr. Aqueel Ahmad, “Hygiene sense for girls is a major issue at the low economic group and therefore we received immense response from the mass after a discussion regarding hygiene awareness for the adolescent age. We hope to conduct more such programs.” The teachers and correspondents of the institution were particularly happy at the outcome and said,”Weare highly obliged to see the team of doctors and volunteers from Vitamine organisation choose our institution for such a wonderful workshop. Weexpect more such programs at our school premises.” Smiles flowed all around as everyone was actively baptised with the mantra of good health.
